1. Life span of pavers
under normal conditions:
All products carry a 5 year manufacturer’s warrantee.

2. Will the colours
fade?
Colours will not wear off as they are integral to
the paver. As with all colours continues exposure
to direct light over a long period of time will result
in a slight fade.
3. Slip resistance
This is one of the advantages of the product that
it is not as slippery and is impact resistant.
4. How do you cut the pavers?
Hand or band saw, or utility knife can be used. No
special tools.
5. How are these pavers installed?
Use a professional contractor. Depending on the type
of paver used, 45mm for the softer surfaces and 25mm
for harder surfaces. It is installed exactly as you
would do with normal pavers. Properly prepared area
for the thicker paver including sand/dolomite, and
harder surfaces for the thinner paver such as, concrete,
asphalt, bricks or crushed rock.
6. How resistant is the product
to erosion, especially sea water, wind and sand?
The products are erosion resistant. To what level
will be formally tested in due course.
7. Any OHS implications in
the laying of the tiles?
The pavers have OH&S benefits as they are lighter,
easier to carry, easier to cut, less abrasive on your
skin and are also less abrasive with softer impact
should you fall.
8. How much weight can they withstand?
It depends on which product. Australian tests are
pending, but the product is suitable in driveways
and carparks.
9. Can high pressure cleaners
be used?
Yes
10. Are there likely to be problems
in matching with asphalt?
No, can be laid together with asphalt.
11. Can pavers be re-cycled?
Yes, this one of the advantages.
12. Advantages will be:
No cracking, shrinking, buckle, less slippery, result
in save surroundings, lots of colour options and anti-fatigue
qualities.
13. Cigarette Burn Resistance?
No change, minor loss of pigment on coloured pavers.
14. Chewing Gum Resistance?
Gum chips off when hardened, and ice will assist in
hardening with no effect to the paver.
